Directed by Shivani Price with the support of the cast members this will mark Price's 3rd directional piece and her first performance of this scale. The piece itself aims to explores areas of new theatre whilst aiming to maintain the original feel of Lorca's 'la Casa de Bernarda Alba' (The House of Bernarda Alba).
'I aim to create something original that adds too rather than takes away from the original play. I think Lorca's one of those playwright's who's work will always have points to make about any society regardless of time - and I hope this play reflects that. Above all however we've been mainly a group of people doing what we love and it has been such an honour to work with such a talented cast and if all this production succeeds in doing is showing you, the audience how utterly brilliant they are than in my mind I've more than succeeded. - Shivani Price
